Banwood is a long-time admirer of the iconic Maison Rispal.

Both Banwood and Rispal have brought their vision of modern design to the world: Rispal by enhancing the art of creating lighting inspired by the golden age of French furniture, and Banwood by offering children's products with timeless designs, promoting an active lifestyle.

This collection pays homage to 20th-century French design, designed for today's children. The result of a meticulous collaboration with interior designer Douglas Mont, it introduces Banwood to the refined world of Maison Rispal.

Douglas Mont Design sought to create a retro design inspired by the 50s and 60s, enhanced with a personal touch. The result is distinguished by a refined aesthetic and the use of exceptional materials.

The frame is inspired by the Streamline Moderne style, recognizable by its curved shapes and horizontal lines, evoking movement and speed.

The choice of tires is not trivial: Douglas Mont, originally from Clermont-Ferrand, an emblematic city of Michelin, was keen to integrate this personal reference, thus guaranteeing optimal comfort and safety.

Each saddle is handcrafted from genuine natural leather, ensuring comfort, durability and support for a unique riding experience.
